Yomim Noraim 5781

Dear Suburban Members & Friends,
We look forward to a new year of growth at Suburban. Together with local healthcare experts, and under current guidelines, we have begun to develop a plan for the Yomim Noraim. While this year's minyanim will look very different than in the past, we remain committed to ensuring the meaningful, warm, and uplifting experience that defines our kehilla. Please keep in mind that health and safety remain a primary focus and as such, should it become necessary, appropriate modifications will be made.

We will be offering two concurrent minyanim, indoor and outdoor:
     - The Indoor minyan will be a more succinct davening while still offering a beautiful and uplifting Tefilah                           experience.
The Outdoor minyan will more closely resemble a typical Yomim Noraim davening, weather and health                        regulations permitting.

These plans are subject to change based on a variety of factors; we appreciate your patience and understanding.

When making your seating request, you will be asked to indicate which minyan you prefer. You will also have the option to request premium seats, closer to the baalei tefillah. We will do our best to accommodate every request and appreciate your understanding if alternate seats must be presented, especially as the current situation continues to evolve. In order to assist us in our planning, if you have davened with us in the past but will not be joining us this year, please use the check box in the "seating" section below to let us know that you will not require a seat.

This year, we will, unfortunately, not be offering Youth Groups/babysitting.
Immediate family of members, who are visiting from out of state, may book a seat, with the exception of those from Florida. At this time, medical guidelines still require a two week quarantine for those traveling from Florida. Please understand that these policies are subject to change.

We look forward to a meaningful start to our year as we head into the Yomim Noraim.

The Shul is reliant on the Yomim Noraim Appeal in covering normal operating and maintenance expenses that occur throughout the year. Every September, coinciding with the Yomim Noraim, we ask that you make a pledge to support the Shul we all love and frequent. Rather than ask volunteers to make calls, we hope you will respond generously to the appeal.

For each Yom Tov since the start of the pandemic, we have been pleased to offer a special Yom Tov Companion for all who were at home. In preparation for the Yomim Noraim, we will be offering this special collection to the entire kehilla. This publication includes davening guidelines and halachos pertaining to today's unique situation. The highlight of the companion is a compilation of inspiring divrei torah to enhance the beauty of Yom Tov

Thank you for completing the Yomim Noraim 5780 Master Form. Please note - you can return to this page at any time to make additions to your items. Contact if you have any questions or call 410.484.6114.
